The Chinese character for YOSH means “fragrant.”
Yosh Han is the founder YOSH olfactory sense and is an award winning perfumer, educator, and speaker. Her eponymous line launched in 2002.
Current art projects are Scents and Sonics of the Ocean and Fragrant Dragon for Abacus Row. Past installations include the award winning The Art of Bloom, Long Beach’s first immersive exhibition.
At Scent Festival, she advocates for industry change and teaches about Intersectionality & Perfumery and Decolonizing Scent. She amplifies POC artisan perfumes.
She consults on scent & flavor development & evaluations and fragrance briefs. She is a nose, super taster, level 1 Sommelier and former tasting judge for the Art and Olfaction Awards and the International Chocolate Salon in San Francisco. While she loves to teach and speak about these subjects, she enjoys creative collaborations with other artists in these fields. She is currently a Creative in Residence at The Battery in San Francisco.
As an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in the Flavor and Fragrance industry, Yosh serves on the Advisory Board for other beauty and beverage brands. Yosh is the Creative Director at Scent Trunk, a perfume publishing house that produces Original Editions in collaboration with artisan perfumers.
Yosh also holds Reiki 1&2 distinctions and is an intuitive clairvoyant who has read thousands of people from around the world and onstage with translators. She completed the Clairvoyant Training program through Aesclepion Healing Institute in 2009. Refinery29 voted her “Best Aura Reader” in 2012.
